EMDR CONSULTATION
As EMDR Therapists, we are encouraged to further our study of this integrative, relational psychotherapy. In so doing, we are continually expanding our clinical insight, confidence and effectiveness.
EMDR Therapy Consultation
EMDR Therapy Basic Training can be a transformative experience in the life and work of a mental health clinician. In addition to the didactic and experiential components of the learning, great insight may come from engaging in meaningful personal work as part of the praticum. This can change not only how we approach our clinical work, but also who we are as psychotherapists.
Following Basic Training, it is recommended that professionals who wish to continue as EMDR Therapists seek ongoing case consultation, and possibly become EMDRIA-Certified. While the basics of EMDR Therapy can be simple to comprehend, the craft of EMDR Therapy may be carefully honed and improved over time, resulting in more robust treatment outcomes for our clients.
